Our History

In 1988, while coaching football at The College of New Jersey, Kelly Meyers met Doug and Jack Borden, who introduced him to the insurance industry. After completing insurance school and a year of research, Kelly, Doug, and Jack founded Borden Perlman Sports in 1990. In 2021, Borden Perlman Sports was acquired by CBIZ and is now known as CBIZ Sports, expanding resources and expertise while continuing to be a leader in the sports insurance field, serving clients nationwide.
